The CfE can provide your venture with carefully chosen, trained mentors who are highly experienced entrepreneurs with hands-on experience of commercialising business ideas.

Research shows most successful entrepreneurs have someone to coach, support and advise them when they start out. A CfE mentor will usually act as a coach and facilitator rather than a decision taker, and will also be present at your Business Review Panel. If the relationship works well, however, ventures may want to develop the

mentor’s role into a more formal management, board or advisory position.

The CfE also has dedicated support staff to manage the day to day running of the Centre, who also assists the businesses with usage of the facilities.
